On the day of the procedure, the treatment area is cleaned thoroughly to remove any lotions, oils, or makeup.
You will be given protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the laser light.
The practitioner will use a specialized laser device to emit controlled bursts of laser energy onto the spider veins. The laser energy is absorbed by the blood vessels, causing them to coagulate and shrink.
During the procedure, you may feel a slight snapping or stinging sensation on your skin as the laser pulses. Most patients tolerate the sensation well.
